Submission 1

The Children's Services Award 2010 has perpetuated historical undervaluation of work due to the gender-based assumptions that have traditionally devalued work performed by women. With 97.2% of Child Care workers being women, the significant gender segregation in this workforce has resulted in the cultural and economic devaluation of their roles.

Submission 2

In response to Ai Group’s submission opposing aspects of Divergent Education’s proposal, we wish to clarify the rationale for our recommendations, address specific concerns raised, and advance detailed proposals to refine the classification structure under the Children's Services Award (CS Award). Our aim is to ensure that classifications reflect real-world roles, responsibilities, and qualifications while supporting the modern awards and minimum wages objectives.
